Small SAP Talk. Small SAP Talk. Running LSMW on Behalf of Another User. Version 2
Some time ago, my colleagues kindly showed me another way to run LSMW on behalf of another user, which I’d like to share in this Small SAP Talk. The material linked below remains fully relevant.
See the post: Small SAP Talk. Small SAP Talk. Running LSMW on Behalf of Another User
I’ll start by preparing the upload file. For demonstration purposes in this post, I’ve used a simple LSMW project that loads a value into a field of an infotype.
I read the file, ensure that the data is correctly mapped to the desired fields, perform the conversion, and create a batch input session.
At the Run Batch Input Session step, I copy the ID of the generated recording (Queue ID).

I then add the copied ID as a parameter to the selection screen of the program RSBDCBTC
and save a variant for this program.

After that, I schedule the RSBDCBTC
program to run in the background with the corresponding variant under the required user ID.
