Creating Transport Requests for Standard Texts
Creating transport requests for standard SAP texts. Example of using program RSTXTRAN
Many consultants are familiar with the functionality of standard texts created via transaction SO10. Often they are used when implementing various programs/reports etc. In addition to the frequency of their use, a question arises: how do you transport the texts you created between systems? Let’s look at this simple, trivial process.
The text itself, as mentioned, is created in transaction SO10:

We move on to the most important part: preparing to transfer that text. Open transaction SE10, click “Create”, and create a new transport request:

Change the task type of the created request from “Unclassified” to “Development/Correction”:

Then run program RSTXTRAN, enter the number of the task from our request, and execute:

On the next screen the consultant must select the text identifier which needs to be transferred. To do this, you must clear the default selected text identifiers by pressing the “Deselect All” button:

Using Ctrl + F you enter the name of the text identifier you created, and check it with a tick:

Be sure to press Enter, and on the screen that appears click the “Texts to Correction” button.

As a result you should get information about successful completion of the operation:

Check the request itself:

Everything looks great! Now the request can be released etc., and so on.
